Tulum ruins, a cenote and Akumal snorkeling
What to expect
Combine the coastal ruins of Tulum, a cenote swim and guided snorkeling in Akumal on a private Tulum and Akumal tour with an English-speaking guide. The day brings together archaeology and marine scenery; sea turtle sightings depend on natural conditions.
Before you book
Tell us children’s ages and swimming experience before booking. The guide will explain the rules for visiting the cenote and observing marine life without touching or disturbing it.
Ask about pickup and availability or compare our private Cozumel snorkeling tour.

Your Tulum, cenote and Akumal itinerary
Combine a guided visit to Tulum’s coastal ruins with a cenote swim and snorkeling in Akumal. Your transportation and English-speaking guide are arranged for your booking group.
Explore Tulum’s ruins
Walk through the archaeological site with your guide and enjoy the views over the Caribbean. Bring comfortable shoes, a hat and a reusable water bottle.
Cenote swim and lunch
Continue to a cenote and stop for a local meal. Swimming participation depends on your comfort in the water and the rules at the location.
Guided snorkeling in Akumal
Look for sea turtles and other marine life with the snorkeling guide. Animals are wild, so sightings are not guaranteed. Follow the guide’s route, keep your distance and never touch or chase wildlife.
