Explore the archaeological site above the Caribbean coast. Expect walking outdoors and follow the site’s current access rules. Comfortable shoes and sun protection help make the visit more enjoyable.
Stop at a cenote
The itinerary includes a cenote visit and entrance fee. Bring swimwear and a towel if you want to enter the water, and tell us about swimming confidence, steps or other access needs before reserving.
Snorkel at Akumal
The published itinerary lists snorkeling equipment and an Akumal visit to look for turtles. These are wild animals and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Follow your guide’s instructions, keep your distance and avoid touching wildlife.

Are turtle sightings guaranteed?
No. Akumal’s turtles are wild animals, and sightings vary. Follow your guide’s directions and give marine life space.
Can I join if I am not a confident swimmer?
Tell us about your swimming confidence before booking. The team will confirm the requirements for Akumal and the cenote and whether the day works for your needs.
Can children take part?
Send their ages and swimming experience before reserving. Requirements can differ between the archaeological visit, cenote and snorkeling activities.
What should I bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, swimwear, a towel, a change of clothes and a reusable water bottle. Follow each location’s current rules for sun protection and belongings.
How do I confirm pickup and guide language?
Send your travel date, accommodation address, number of travelers and preferred guide language. We confirm the available departure arrangements before you reserve.
What should I confirm before paying?
Confirm the date, total price and currency, pickup, inclusions, activity requirements and cancellation terms. Read the booking terms and ask the team about anything specific to your group.

To secure your reservation,
we require a deposit based on the number of participants and the excursions you wish to take with us. The remaining balance should be paid in cash to the guide on the morning of your first excursion.
